GENERAL RULES

Flamingoland have asked all private owners who rent their caravans to point out to their guests that for insurance reasons the occupancy of any caravan on Flamingoland shall not exceed six persons, and that the number of occupants shall at no time exceed the number of persons declared on the booking form.

Flamingoland is also a ‘family site’ which does not permit same sex parties occupying any caravan.

Deep fat fryers or chip pans are not permitted in the caravan due to the increased risk of fire in a confined area.

No pets of any description are permitted in the caravan.

No Smoking is permitted inside the caravan.

HOLIDAY VILLAGE, THEME PARK AND ZOO ENTRY

Upon arrival at Flamingo Land all holiday village guests will be required to pay an All Areas Pass Fee which includes unlimited entrance to the Theme Park and Zoo, and full use of all Holiday Village facilities such as Pubs, Clubs and Swimming Pool (there is a small additional charge if you wish to use the Golf course or Fishing lake). You will pay this all areas pass fee only once, and it will cover you for up to two weeks. You will be required to wear a wristband for the full duration of your stay.

HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS

We like to think we deal with any cancellations in a sympathetic and fair manner.

When we receive your initial deposit your holiday dates are ‘confirmed’ with us, and any further enquiries for the same holiday dates are declined. The remaining balance will become due 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of your holiday.

If you cancel your holiday more than 6 weeks prior to the holiday commencement date then your deposit will be forfeited.

If you cancel your holiday at any time after that point then this means that we will obviously have less chance of re-letting those dates due to the diminishing time factor, and we may also incur additional advertising costs along the way.

If you cancel your holiday with us with less than 6 weeks to go then this will be dealt with as follows:

• Between 4 and 6 weeks before holiday commencement date – a full refund minus £100.
• Between 2 and 4 weeks before holiday commencement date – a full refund minus £150.
• Less than 2 weeks before holiday commencement date – a full refund minus £200.

However, if we do eventually manage to re-let the caravan for the period of your planned holiday then a full refund of all monies paid (excluding the deposit) will be made to you – we think that’s fair, and we trust that you do too.

BEDDING AND TOWELS

We will provide fresh bedding, but please be aware that we do not provide Towels or Tea Towels, and you are therefore requested to bring your own.

DEEP FAT FRYERS AND CHIP PANS

These items are Strictly Forbidden in any of the caravans on Flamingo Land due to the associated fire risk. All Insurance claims for fire and smoke damage are null and void if any these items are found in the caravan.

SMOKING

We respectfully remind all guests that Smoking is strictly forbidden in the caravan, and for the comfort of all our holiday guests we ask you to respect this rule and refrain from smoking inside the caravan. Smoking in such a confined area leaves an unpleasant odour which non smokers find offensive.

You may smoke outside on the veranda at the seating area if you so wish, and an ashtray is provided for this purpose, but please be careful when disposing of cigarette butts due to the close vicinity of the gas bottles.

PETS

No pets at all are permitted in the caravan for obvious reasons.

RUBBISH DISPOSAL

You are respectfully requested to dispose of any accumulated rubbish in the site bin areas before leaving the caravan at the end of your stay with us. The nearest disposal area is to the right of the caravan near the stone roundabout about 50 meters away. We will leave a good supply of black sacks with you for this purpose, but if you do happen to run out then they can be obtained free of charge from the Holiday Village Reception.

RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND HOLIDAYMAKERS

Flamingo Land advertises itself as a ‘Family Friendly’ site where parents can bring their children to have a great holiday. Flamingo Land is very protective of this ‘Family Friendly’ reputation and they operate a zero tolerance policy toward any sort of anti-social behaviour. Any guests displaying this kind of behaviour will be escorted from Flamingo Land premises (which include the Holiday Village, Theme Park and Zoo) without any further warning, and you will see many signs and notices to this effect throughout Flamingo Land’s premises.

Anti Social behaviour extends particularly to drunken or rowdy behaviour, and excessive noise in the holiday village caravan areas. Flamingo Land want everyone to have a good time when they are here, but not at the expense of other holiday makers enjoyment.

Please be aware that any occupants who are ejected from the site for any reason will not be given any refunds by either Flamingo Land or by ourselves as the caravan owners.
